Especially when you are sequestered in a war room with food refresh every 3 hours.  I did pretty well since the EVP we were working with is a Diet Coke fan - and he likes it like I do - ICE cold right from the can.  The good news is I gained NO weight.  I didn't lose any, but I didn't gain - just held the line. I have been so hungry I thought I would die.  But I have been holding steady and not gaining so that's something.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"&gt;Next, I have to thank Wendy's for NEVER exceeding my expectations with their quality of food.  They have never cooked my hamburger all the way through and that would normally just make me mad, but today I'm happy.  I tried it, despite my guilt, and it sucked eggs so now I know that I have successfully put that craving to rest.  So thanks Wendy's. We really had nothing to choose from for lunch so I found a package of Vigo Black Beans and Rice - so I cooked that and added in some homemade salsa, little shredded cheese and a little sour cream and it was AWESOME. I love black beans and I love coming with new stuff to do with them. Today was like redneck, homemade Chipotle. YUM!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I didn't run or exercise yet, but will ride for a while tonight. Today started kind of late - weird kid morning with sleeping and Todd and I were TIRED. To make matters worse, it's Sunday and we are FOOD POOR today and nobody wants to go to the grocery. So today was a day of invention. An explanation about lunch- Tiki and I went to the bank while the other boys napped and ended up at McDonald's to kill some time on the playground.  We both realized it was 1:00 pm and we were hungry from breakfast.  The cheeseburger Happy Meal was the lesser of all the evils.  And then we ended up moving furniture and realized late that it was 7:00 and we hadn't had dinner.  Todd ran to Little Ceasars and we ate a pizza.  On a positive note we only got the one pizza to make sure there were no leftovers...a good thing for me and we just got cheese as opposed to pepperoni. But, I'm finding that I'm not really that hungry now that I'm not eating just to eat.  I learned an interesting lesson today.  This evening I was too tired to cook and Todd was gone so my goal was just to get some quick food and get the kids all settled.  I ran through McDonalds - and even though I've had a hamburger since beginning the process - mine was made from 90/10 lean ground sirloin - hardly what McDonald's uses. They cooled while I was at the gym and when I came back I used them for the following.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;1/2  baked chicken breast&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;1/2 whole wheat pite&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Provolone or swiss cheese&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Mayo and/or mustard&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;2-3 Cherubs (cherry or grape tomatoes)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Pepper relish or spicy olive relish&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Warm the pita in microwave for about 30 seconds to soften. Put mayo or mustard in pita and lay slice of cheese in. Slice the chicken breast into thin slices and stuff in pita. Slice Cherubs and dump in and finally add pepper relish (I use Potbelly Peppers) or spicy olive relish. Enjoy! High in protien, spicy and delicious. The black bean is another of nature's perfect foods :-)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Start with the "salsa" if you can call it that. My mom invented this when she was living in NC and she and my dad would eat Mexican and they tried to make the salsa by taste. We LOVE this stuff as an alternative to Pico and Pace, etc. You can use Pace or other favorite salsa in place.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;1 large can of stewed tomatoes&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;1/4 cup of crushed red pepper flakes - top off with garlic powder&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Blend until smooth and add garlic salt to taste&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Set aside&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;2 tbsp olive oil&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;1 clove of garlic (or one tbsp of minced garlic)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;1/2 tsp cumin&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;2/3 cup of above salsa&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;1 can black beans&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Flour tortillas&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Sour cream &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Shredded cheese&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Shredded lettuce&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Add olive oil and pressed or minced garlic to skillet. Heat skillet to medium until garlic starts to cook. Add rinsed black beans and 2/3 cup of salsa, stir. Add 1.2 tsp cumin and stir. Continue to cook over medium heat and stir until mixture thickens and salsa cooks down. Spread sour cream (optional) on tortilla, add bean mixture, top with cheese, lettuce, tomato, jalapeno, etc to taste.  Wrap like a burritto or serve like a soft taco.
